**FARM RIDE OPEN FOR BOOKINGS THIS WEEKEND**
The Littler Family at Home Farm
Home Farm was first farmed by the Littler family (Our Grandad & Granny) as a tenant farm before the family bought the farm in the late 90’s. Grandad did so much for the farming community and those around him and was recognised by these achievements when he received an MBE from The Queen in 1997 for Exceptional work in agriculture.
Our Mum and Dad took the farm over in 2008 and looked to diversify the farm by setting up an equestrian facility – we set the business up to run livery, the farm ride and events we see today alongside building up our herds of beef and sheep – doing what we love the most – farming.
We take pride in aiming to do things in the best way we can and we hope to see you soon!
A warm welcome since 1989
We pride ourselves in the friendly and relaxed nature of our farm ride and events. You are usually met with a friendly face when entering the yard and will be instructed where to go to use the facility you’ve hired.
Our wonderful Mum
We can’t talk about ‘us’ without mentioning our wonderful Mum, Julie, who many of you will have been greeted by over the years. Unfortunately Julie sadly passed away suddenly following a diagnosis of Secondary Breast Cancer in March 2023. She was and will always be a part of everything we do at the farm and has left behind the biggest hole in our worlds.
All charity fun rides held at the farm will be to raise money for Breast Cancer Now in memory of our Mum and the incredible person she was.
